Hardwood Refinisher / Installer

This role contributes to our current year-round team of seasoned installers as our hardwood installation and refinishing specialist.

The successful candidate will:

  • have at least 3-years experience installing and sanding and finishing hardwood floors

Flooring & Tile Design Specialist

Retail Sales Professional

CSM Flooring, a family-owned business serving the Triad since 1977, seeks another full-time Retail Sales Professional to join our outstanding team. Ideally, this person has prior experience in specialty retail, is customer and design focused, and enjoys staying current with the latest design and style trends.

As a customer-focused company, we like to care for our employees, who take fantastic care of our customers. This is a full-time salaried position with additional commission (base-plus) and full benefits after 90 days. Our average employee tenure is around 15 years.

Our Retail Sales Professionals sell to and build our client base of contractors, homeowners, designers & architects while working as a team in our 10,000-square-foot showroom.

Specific responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assisting clients in need of professional guidance in selecting flooring and tile
  • Creating & suggesting design ideas
  • Measuring and calculating square footage & linear footage
  • Generating and following up on client quotes & orders
  • Ensuring all of our customers have a first-class customer experience
  • Expanding relationships and developing long-term satisfied customers

Essential Parameters:


  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating Weekends


  • Sales: 3 years minimum retail experience (Required)
  • Flooring/tile or interior design experience a plus

Salary: Commission-based on top of $35,000-$40,000 base salary (varies depending on experience)


  • 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees after 90 days

Builder Sales

This role will assist, design, select and sell floor covering products and packages to a mix of custom builders, commercial clients and retail customers throughout the Triad. Roughly half of this role involves new sales; the other half is supporting and servicing existing accounts.

The successful candidate will have proven ability to sell quality products or services to discretionary buyers and be detail-oriented enough to manage technical aspects of servicing their accounts. Experience in or exposure to carpeting, flooring and/or tile product sales or installation is strongly preferred. Alignment with our core values is also necessary, including service, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
